Big Burrito Group To Open First Downtown Pittsburgh Restaurant
The company behind the Mad Mex chain is opening a Downtown locale - but it's not a Mad Mex.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Big Burrito Group, which owns a number of Pittsburgh restaurants, will open its first Downtown eatery early in 2023. Alta Via, which already has an O'Hara location, will open at Two PPG Place in Market Square.
The restaurant will open in the space formerly occupied by Molinaro Ristorante. It will have a menu similar to the Fox Chapel Plaza location, featuring hearth cooking, seafood and homemade pastas.
There also will be vegetable-forward recipes and two flavors of soft serve gelato available daily.
