Big Changes Coming In Pittsburgh Weather Pattern
It's been sunny and unseasonably warm throughout the region. The pleasant weather soon will be coming to an end, though.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Enjoy it while it lasts.
Two weeks into autumn, Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania are experiencing above-average temperatures more indicative of summer. Yesterday's high reached 81 degrees, while Tuesday's high is expected to reach the low- to mid-80s.
Average high temperatures for the region in early October are in the upper 60s.

Expect highs in the 80s again on Wednesday and Thursday - and then prepare yourself for plunging temperatures. A cold front will sweep through the area on Friday, dropping his temperatures to the upper 60s. Even colder air is expected on Saturday, with an anticipated high a below average 55.
According to the National Weather Service and The Weather Channel, temperatures likely will not rebound to the 60s until the middle of next week.
