Bob Seger To Play PPG Paints Arena In September
The legendary rocker and his Silver Bullet Band could be making their final Pittsburgh appearance.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will make what could be their final appearance in Pittsburgh with a Sept. 28 concert at PPG Paints Arena. The legendary rocker on Thursday announced the initial 24 stops of the band’s Runaway Train Tour that kicks off Aug. 21 in Toledo.
Known for such hits as “Night Moves,” “Turn the Page” and “Rock and Roll Never Forgets,” Seger, 72, last played Pittsburgh in 2015. This week, he hinted on social media that he was about to embark on a final tour to cap a career spanning more than a half-century.
Seger has turned out numerous platinum albums. Just this week Seger's Greatest Hits album was certified diamond by the RIAA for achieving 10 million units sold in the U.S.
Tickets go on sale starting Friday, June 9. Bob Seger fan club members will have special access to purchase tickets in advance on the Tuesday before each scheduled on-sale. To become a Bullet Club member, visit BobSeger.com. Tickets can be purchased at BobSeger.com and LiveNation.com.
Nancy Wilson of Heart will open on select dates of the tour. It could not immediately be determined if Wilson will play the Pittsburgh show.
