Body Of Pittsburgh-Area Native Recovered From Condo Collapse Site

The body of Nicole Duran-Manishirov has been found more than two weeks after the partial collapse of her Florida condominium.

SURFSIDE, FL — A Pittsburgh-area native's body was was found in the ruins of the collapsed condominium in Surfside, FL. The body of Nicole Doran-Manashirov, 43, has been positively identified, according to the Miami-Dade County police.

The body of her husband, Ruslan Manashirov, 36, was recovered last week. The couple, who were married in May, lived in a beach-view unit on the building's seventh floor.

Nicole Doran-Manashirov, a nurse, originally was from South Park. Ruslan Manashirov was a general practitioner and a native of Azerbaijan.

The death toll from the building collapse two weeks ago now stands at 94, Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava said Monday during a news conference. As many as 76 people remain missing and are presumed dead, as authorities have moved from a search and rescue to a search and recovery mission.
