Bomb Threat Closes Pittsburgh-Area High School

The threat was received early Wednesday morning.

FOX CHAPEL, PA - For the second time in two weeks, a bomb threat has prompted the closure of Fox Chapel Area High School. The threat was received via Safe2Say at approximately 3 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a post on the school district's Facebook page.

The local police, as well as our own district police force, have been investigating this report since it was received," the post stated. "Please keep in mind that the school district will continue to
thoroughly investigate every Safe2Say report and will continue to make decisions with the safety of all students being the highest priority."

The high school is the only district building closed Wednesday. All other Fox Chapel schools are open.
