Bomb Threat Closes Pittsburgh-Area High School, Middle School
The threat was issued early Wednesday.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Pine-Richland High School and Pine-Richland Middle School are closed Wednesday after a specific bomb threat was received. The Northern Regional Police Department will complete a threat assessment and canine units will be brought in to assist in the inspection of the buildings, according to a statement on the Pine-Richland School District website.
All other schools in the district are open and operating on their regular schedules.
Anyone with information on the threat is asked to call the tip line at 724-449-TIPS.
