Britsburgh Festival To Bring A Touch Of Britain To Pittsburgh
The third annual festival will spotlight the many connections Pittsburgh has to England.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Bilmey, mate! There sure will be a touch of jolly old England evident around Pittsburgh this week as the third annual Britsburgh Festival takes place. The six-day event, sponsored by the nonprofit British-American Connections Pittsburgh, spotlights the city’s many ties to the United Kingdom.
This year’s Britsburgh, which begins Sept. 5, will introduce two new “Britsburgh Societies” - groups that explore Pittsburgh-Britain connections in arts, beer, literary works, innovators and, of course, tea.
“Our History Society and Commonwealth Dining Society will offer Britsburgh Society members more opportunities to learn about and enjoy the connections that link the Pittsburgh region with Britain and the Commonwealth of Nations,” said Britsburgh chair Robert Charlesworth.
