Bruno Sammartino Documentary To Have World Premiere
The documentary chronicles the life story of the legendary Pittsburgh wrestler.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The highly anticipated documentary on the late Pittsburgh wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino will premiere Friday in Los Angeles and New York. A larger run nationwide for "Bruno Sammartino" will occur in the spring.
The film examines Sammartino's journey from the small town of Abruzzi, Italy to the pinnacle of professional wrestling. Sammartino, who died in 2018 at 82, was the longest reigning champion in WWE history and a WWW Hall of Famer.
Prior to his death, Sammartino and his wife, Carol, were intricately involved in making the film, according to KDKA-AM personality Larry Richert, the movie's executive producer.
