Bruno Sammartino Funeral Arrangements Set
The Hall of Fame wrestler died Wednesday at age 82.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Funeral arrangements have been announced for WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Bruno Sammartino. Mr. Sammartino, of Ross, died Wednesday at 82.
Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc., 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street in Shadyside. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church in Ross. Everyone should gather at the church. Entombment will be private.
Mr. Sammartino was the longest reigning champion in WWE history and one of the most popular. He sold out Madison Square Garden in New York City 188 times, including his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Mr. Sammartino is survived by his wife, Carol; sons David Sammartino, Daniel Sammartino (Cindy) and Darryl Sammartino (Holly); grandchildren Bruno, Anthony, Vince and Ashley Sammartino; a sister, Maria DiMatteo and a brother, Paul Sammartino. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Don Teyssier.
