Bucket Truck Worker Plummets To Death On Pittsburgh's Parkway East
The accident occurred early Friday morning.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A construction worker performing work on the Parkway East died early Friday when his bucket truck was struck by an 18-wheeler, causing him to fall onto a bike trail below the roadway.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, when medics arrived they found the man receiving aid from other workers on the scene. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries.
The victim has not been identified.
