Fire Damages Building Housing 2 Pittsburgh Eateries
A fire broke out early Tuesday in a building that houses two well-known Pittsburgh restaurants.
PITTSBURGH, PA — An early morning fire damaged two local eateries Tuesday in the 1100 block of Federal Street on the North Side. Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 6 a.m.
The building on fire houses two neighborhood eateries, El Burro and Nana's New York Hot Dog Shop. Nana's bills itself as Pittsburgh's oldest hot dog shop. There are apartments above the restaurants.
One man was taken to a nearby hospital, according to WTAE-TV.
