Caliente Pizza & Drafthouse Owner's Book No Half-Baked Idea

PITTSBURGH, PA - Caliente Pizza and Drafthouse owner Nick Bogacz doesn’t just own and operate an award-winning pizza chain. He’s also an author.

Bogacz’s first book “The Pizza Equation,” will be out March 1. It details what he considers to be the most important aspects of operating a pizza business and serves them up in a handy guide.

The book follows Bogacz’s career beginning as a delivery boy in 1996, chronicles his rise through corporate pizza chain franchises and growing the Caliente chain from the initial Bloomfield location that opened in 2012.

The book will debut is Caliente unveils its fifth location in southwestern Pennsylvania, on Mosside Boulevard in Monroeville. The new space is in the former Steel City Steakhouse across from Sheetz.

“We see buying and remodeling empty building spaces as an opportunity to bring family fun, award-winning pizza and unique craft beers to new communities while supporting the region’s economic impact as a small business owner,” Bogacz said.

An official opening date is expected to be announced shortly.
