Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne, Robert Morris Moving To Remote Classes
Pittsburgh's colleges and universities continue to suspend face-to-face instruction as a result of the coronavirus.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Here's the latest on how Pittsburgh-area colleges and universities are responding to the coronavirus outbreak:
- Carnegie Mellon University: For the Pittsburgh campus, classes will be canceled March 16 and 17 to allow faculty and staff time to finalize online instruction preparation. Alternative teaching methods begin March 18 and will be in place until further notice.
- Duquesne University: Classes are canceled March 16 and 17 for online instruction preparation that begins March 18 and will be in effect until at least March 31.
- Robert Morris University: Classes are canceled March 12 and 13. Alternative instruction begins March 16 and will be in effect through April 27.
- The University of Pittsburgh on Wednesday announced the details of its online instruction plans.
