Chick-fil-A Giving Away Free Entrees On Tuesday

The restaurant chain is celebrating its 13th annual Cow Appreciation Day.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Some might consider the idea udderly ridiculous, but it’s true: You can get free food at Chick-fil-A on Tuesday if you visit the restaurant chain sporting any kind of cow attire.

Chick-fil-A’s 2100 restaurants nationwide will be celebrating the 13th annual Cow Appreciation Day. Customers dressed “head to hoof” like a cow or sporting a cow-spotted accessory can claim a free entree such as an original chicken sandwich, the new smokehouse barbecue bacon or the popular breakfast item egg white grill. Children dressed in cow garb will receive a free kid’s meal.

Chick-fil-A began celebrating Cow Appreciation Day in 2005 in honor of the “Eat Mor Chikin” cows that are a mainstay of the chain’s marketing efforts. Participation has grown each year, with nearly 1.6 million free entrees given to cow-dressed customers in 2016.
