Milling and repaving of Fifth Avenue and Forbes Avenue between Sixth Street and Moultrie Street will start on Monday, November 29, 2021 for approximately one week. During this time, traffic may be reduced to a single lane. Performing this work is contractor A. Folino Construction, Inc.
Currently, several utility company construction projects have been actively replacing underground utilities beneath Fifth Avenue and Forbes Avenue. The temporary paving is to stabilize the road surface for travel during the winter months before utility work begins again in the spring of 2022.
