Consumer Alert Placed On North Side Isaly's

The Allegheny County Health Department isn't happy with conditions at the restaurant.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Allegheny County Health Department has hit the North Side Isaly’s restaurant at 537 East Ohio Street with a consumer alert.

According to the health department, the recurrent violations found at that Isaly’s location include
unsafe cold-holding temperatures of food; inadequate hand washing facilities; evidence of smoking throughout facility; insufficient facilities to clean and sanitize utensils; lack of a certified Food Protection Manager and unapproved toxic item in-use.

The eatery remains open while the consumer alert is in effect.
