Convicted Pittsburgh Public Schools Cop Found Dead In Prison
The sexual predator was serving a lengthy prison sentence at the Somerset State Correctional Institute.
SOMERSET, PA — A former Pittsburgh Public Schools police officer convicted in a 2013 sex abuse case was found dead in his cell at the Somerset State Correctional Institute over the weekend.
The Somerset County Coroner's Office confirmed Robert Lellock's death to WPXI-TV. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Lellock, 54, was serving a 32-to-64 year prison sentence after being found guilty of molesting four boys at the Arthur J. Rooney Middle School in Brighton Heights during the 1998-99 school year. Lellock took the students out of class and forced them to engage in sex acts in a janitor's closet.

The victims did not report the crimes for years. But in 2013, Lellock was convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, child endangerment, corruption of minors and indecent assault. He also was labeled a sexually violent predator.
