Cookie Recall: Grocery Chain Says Cookies Could Have Rocks In Them
You don't want to chip a tooth on these chocolate chip cookies.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Trader Joe's is recalling several popular cookie brands because they could be contaminated with rocks.
The recall is in effect for the chain’s almond windmill cookies and dark chocolate chunk and almond cookies, an announcement on the company's website said. There was no explanation as to how the cookies potentially became contaminated.
The cookies have a sell-by date of Oct. 21.
