Cranberry To Get New Retirement Community

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - The Village of Cranberry Woods is adding an independent, assisted and continuing care community for seniors, as well as a unit for those suffering from dementia.

Township supervisors on Thursday are expected to give the final approvals for Solana at Cranberry , a four-story, 183-unit, 235,000-square foot facility with 141 parking spaces. The project is being proposed by the Atlanta-based Formation Development Group, which operates more than a dozen other senior communities across the country

If the green light is given, construction could begin early next year on this latest addition to the Village of Cranberry Woods, a 57-acre mixed use development along Franklin Road.
