UPDATED: The inbound Squirrel Hill Tunnel has reopened to traffic. The outbound direction remains closed, according to PennDOT.
PITTSBURGH, PA -Due to a crash in the outbound Squirrel Hill Tunnel, the Parkway East is closed inboth directions approaching the tunnel. Outbound traffic is being detoured at the Squirrel Hill/Homestead (Exit 74) off-ramp.
PennDOT is advising motorists to consider an alternate route until further notice.
