Daughter Of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes To Attend College In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — Carnegie Mellon University's annual Family Weekend this fall could have a few celebrities in attendance. Suri Cruise, the daughter of ex-couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, has decided to attend CMU.

The Tartan-to-be disclosed the news in a TikTok video posted by a fellow student at LaGuardia High School in New York City. The video featured about a dozen students wearing sweatshirts that revealed the names of their college choices. Suri, 18, was outfitted in a red hoodie emblazoned with "Carnegie Mellon."

CMU has been a veritable factory for actors over the years, churning out the likes of Ted Danson, Zachary Quinto, Ethan Hawke and Pittsburgh's own Billy Porter.

But that doesn't mean that Suri intends to follow in the footsteps of her famous parents. According to the The Daily Mail, which first reported the college choice, Siri is considering studying fashion.
