Delta Airlines Flight Makes Abrupt Diversion To Pittsburgh
A Delta Airlines flight bound to Texas from New York instead landed in Pittsburgh Wednesday.
MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Delta Airlines flight from LaGuardia Airport in New York to Dallas-Fort Worth was diverted to Pittsburgh Wednesday morning after a mechanical issue.
Delta told WPXI-TV that the plane had an issue with one of its engines. Details on the issue were not immediately available.
The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported among the 64 passengers and crew.
