Doobie Brothers Postpone Pittsburgh Concert
The band has rescheduled its 2020 tour due to the coronavirus outbreak.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The legendary Doobie Brothers were to have celebrated their 50th anniversary this year with a North American tour that included a stop in Pittsburgh. But because of the coronavirus outbreak, the band has postponed the tour until 2021.
The Doobies were to have appeared at S&T Bank Music Park on Aug. 6. They now are scheduled to perform Sept. 4, 2021.
"The Doobie Brothers regret to announce that their 50th Anniversary Tour has been rescheduled," a message on the band's websit stated. "This decision has been made with the health and safety of The Doobie Brothers’ fans, crew and local employees in mind."

The tour will mark the first time in nearly a quarter of a century that the band will tour with singer-keyboardist Michael McDonald, the voice behind classic hits such as "What a Fool Believes" and "Minute By Minute." McDonald will join singer-guitarists Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons and multi-instrumentalist John McFee.
