Downtown Pittsburgh Crime Continues: Pharmacy Robbed
The armed robbery occurred Monday night, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Downtown Pittsburgh's increasing image as a crime-ridden location likely will be enhanced after an armed robbery that occurred at a pharmacy Monday night.
Police were called to the Rite Aid at 100 Forbes Avenue at about 8:30 p.m for the robbery call.
The male suspect, who was dressed entirely in black and wearing a ski mask, threatened staff with a knife and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The man fled on foot.
