Downtown Pittsburgh Fatal Shooting: Latest Details
Here's the latest on a deadly shooting incident in Downtown Pittsburgh.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A teen was shot and killed early Sunday in Downtown Pittsburgh in an altercation in the Downtown Pittsburgh Cultural District.
At approximately 12:15 a.m., city police responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of 7th Street and Penn Avenue.
First responders found a teen with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital in critical condition in critical condition and died a short time later.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Alijah Thomas-Hayden, 17.
A short time later, police were able to apprehend the suspect in the shooting, Riley Doubt, 15, of the Hill District.

He has been charged with criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm by a minor and tampering with evidence.
Doubt is being held in the county jail.
