Downtown Pittsburgh Getting Eclectic New Dining Spot
A new eatery will join the roster of restaurants in the Union Trust Building.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A new restaurant is opening next week in Downtown Pittsburgh. Ritual House debuts Feb. 26 in the former Union Standard space in the Union Trust Building.
The restaurant's website promises diners will experience "captivating art, devilish details, and luxurious comfort."
Appetizers include portobello fries, seared scallops, crab tater tots and shrimp corn dogs.

The lunch menu features soups and salads, sandwiches such as a triple-stacked salmon, a crab cake BLT and a short rib grilled cheeses. Lunch entrees include shrimp and sweet potato grits, turkey devonshire and baked polenta. Dinner entrees include chicken, lamb and pork chops, filet mignon and chicken pot pie.
The restaurant also has a varied selection of cocktails, wine and craft beers.

Ritual House's ownership group includes Herky Pollock, who also is a partner in the local Burgatory and Shorty's chains.
The Union Trust Building also houses The Speckled Egg, Eddie V's Prime Seafood and Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse.
