Downtown Pittsburgh Restaurant To Close Its Doors
A popular Downtown establishment is shutting down at the end of the month.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Harris Grill, a Downtown offshoot of similarly named restaurants that once existed in Shadyside and Mt. Washington, will close permanently on Dec. 30.
The announcement was made on the restaurant's Facebook page.
"Owners Rodney Swartz, Alex & Dana Fruzynski, Amy Kluczkowskii & Leslie Donovan encourage all customers to visit downtown one last time for the final Tuesday is Bacon Night on December 28th, one last frozen cosmo, or one final henny penny or macaroni and cheese," an announcement on the Fourth Avenue eatery's Facebook page stated.

"We appreciate all of our customers who have supported us over the years and will miss having this space to welcome them. May we meet again in the future.”
The Shadyside Harris Grill has been closed since a 2019 fire and it's unclear whether it will reopen. The Mt. Washington location on Shiloh Street changed hands and is now known as the Shiloh Grill.
