Woman, 82, Found Dead After Hillside Crash In Allegheny County: PD

Detectives are investigating the single-vehicle crash, which happened Thursday afternoon.

MCKEESPORT, PA — Police said an 82-year-old woman is dead after a crash in McKeesport on Thursday afternoon, when her vehicle went over a hillside.

Allegheny County police were notified of the crash, which was within the 1000 block of Long Run Road, at 4:01 p.m., officials said.

The county Homicide Unit and Collision Reconstructionist responded to the scene, where first responders found the woman dead inside the vehicle. Detectives will initiate an investigation.

The county medical examiner identified the woman as Harriet Sigmund-Dukic, according to reports from WTAE-TV and WPXI-TV.

Police said that foul play is not suspected, but are asking anyone with information about this incident to call the County Police tip line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
