DVE 50th Celebration, Zac Brown Band Top Pittbrugh Weekend Events

PITTSBURGH, PA - Who gives a hoot about the Zac Brown Band bringing its Owl tour to Pittsburgh this weekend? Plenty of fans.

The country band has released six studio albums along with two live albums, one greatest-hits album, and two extended plays. They have also charted sixteen singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay chart, of which thirteen have reached number one.

The Zac Brown Band has a history of selling out venues, including Noblesville, and Boston’s Fenway Park, where it sold out nine consecutive shows. Fans can expect to hear hits such as Chicken Fried," Toes," "Highway 20 Ride," "Free," "As She's Walking Away," "Keep Me In Mind," and "Beautiful Drug."

The Zac Brown Band performs June 28 at 7 p.m. at KeyBank Pavilion.

Randy Bauman and the WDVE morning show present this night of laughs hosted by Billy Gardell. Also on hand will be Bill Burr, Roy Wood Jr., Jessica Kirson, Ian Bagg and Bill Crawford.
The celebration marks a half-century of DVE’s gradual rise to dominating the Pittsburgh radio market.
