The Eagles To Play Pittsburgh In 2018
The legendary rock band will make a stop in the Steel City next summer.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Eagles are flying back to Pittsburgh. The classic rock band announced 17 additional dates for their 2018 tour Thursday, and one of them will be in the Steel City.
Known for an extensive catalog of hits such as “Hotel California,” “One Of These Nights,” “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” and “Take It Easy,” the Eagles will play at PPG Paints Arena on July 24.
The tour kicks off March 12 in Indianapolis and ends July 28 in Philadelphia. A mix of arena and stadium dates, the tour’s opening acts will include Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor and Chris Stapleton. No opening act was announced Thursday for the band’s Pittsburgh stop.

Eagles tickets go on sale to the general public on Dec. 15 and range will in price from $47.25 to $380.50.
The Eagles will have a different lineup than they did when they last appeared in Pittsburgh at the arena (then called Consol Energy Center) in 2013. Band co-founder Glenn Frey died last year.

The band currently consists of co-founder Don Henley, longtime members Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, country chart-topper Vince Gill and Frey’s son, Deacon.
