Famed 'Saturday Night Live' Alum To Make Pittsburgh Appearance

A famous former "Saturday Night Live" cast member with numerous TV and movie appearances as well is Pittsburgh-bound.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A longtime "Saturday Night Live" cast member who also has had numerous TV and movie roles is on his way to Pittsburgh.

Kevin Nealon will be attending Steel City Con April 10-12 at the Monroeville Convention Center.

Nealon was on "Saturday Night Live" from 1986 to 1996 and became a staple of the show for characters such as "The Subliminal Man" and Hanz as half of the "Franz and Hanz" duo along with Dana Carvery. He also anchored the "Weekend Update" segment from 1991 to 1994, earning an Emmy nomination as part of the writing team.

After SNL, Nealon had an ongoing role as Doug Wilson in the acclaimed TV series "Weeds" until 2012 and starred in the sitcom "Man with a Plan" from 2016.

Nealon has appeared in numerous films including "Happy Gilmore," "The Wedding Singer," "Anger Management," Roxanne," and "Daddy Day Care."
