Fire Closes Popular Pittsburgh Restaurant

It's unclear when the eatery will reopen.

SWISSVALE, PA — A hot dog and beer shop damaged in an early morning fire Sunday will remain closed on Monday. D's Six Pax & Dogs posted the information on its Facebook page.

"We will have to remain closed (Monday) to assess the damage/get a time frame for reopening," the post stated. " Thank you to everyone for the kind words and support. We get through this and open back up as quickly as we can."

The fire erupted at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in a dumpster behind the South Braddock Avenue restaurant and spread to the rear of the building.
