Foreigner To Play Pittsburgh On Farewell Tour
The classic rock band says it's calling it quits after nearly 50 years of recording and performing.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Foreigner's first big hit nearly a half-century ago was "Feels Like The First Time." Next summer, it will feel like the last time as the classic rock band embarks on a farewell tour that will stop in Pittsburgh July 29 at the Pavilion at Star Lake.
Since its first album in 1977, Foreigner has released nine studio albums that have included such hits as "Hot Blooded," "Double Vision," "Urgent," and "I Want To Know What Love Is." The band lineup has included more than two dozens members; the only original one still in the band is its founder, guitarist Mick Jones, 77.
"Foreigner is a completely revitalized band with a whole new energy that has won the hearts of our fans all over the world, and I want to go out while the band is still at the top of its game,” Jones, 77, told Billboard.

“I had the idea that was to become Foreigner back in 1974, and I was 30 years old at the time. By the end of our farewell tour, over 50 years will have passed, and that’s a long time to be on the road.”
Tickets go on sale Nov. 18 at livenation.com.
