Former `Dance Moms' Star To Be Sprung From Prison Early
Penn Hills native Abby Lee Miller has been behind bars since last summer.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Former “Dance Moms” reality TV star and Pittsburgh native Abby Lee Miller will be getting released from prison early.
Miller, who has been in a California prison since last July, originally was scheduled to be released from prison June 21. But online court records indicate her release date has been moved up to May 25, WTAE-TV reported.
Miller, 51, was sentenced to a year and a day behind bars in prison after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and other charges. Miller hid $775,000 worth of income while claiming to be bankrupt and brought $120,000 in Australian currency into the U.S. without reporting it.
