Former KDKA-TV 'Evening Magazine' Host Dies
This former Pittsburgh broadcast personality went on to a long career in Baltimore media..

PITTSBURGH, PA - Dave Durian, the former KDKA-TV “Evening Magazine” anchor who went on to a long media career in Baltimore, died Monday. He was 72.
Mr. Durian had suffered from lung cancer.
Along with Donna Hanover, Mr. Durian co-hosted “Evening Magazine,” KDKA’s nightly local news and entertainment program, from 1977 until 1982, when he departed for Baltimore.

He was a lead anchor at WBAL-TV, worked for Maryland Public Television and then landed at WBAL Radio in 1990. He anchored the morning show there until his retirement in 2012.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Durian are pending.
