Former Pitt Football Star Facing Criminal Charges

A former University of Pittsburgh football player is facing multiple criminal charges. Get the details here.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A former star University of Pittsburgh football player has turned himself in and is facing charges in connection with a shooting incident.

According to Allegheny County Police, Paris Ford, 25, has been charged with multiple offenses in connection with the March 15 incident. Ford, 25, played in the defensive backfield for Pitt from 2018-2020 and is a graduate of Steel Valley High School.

Ford is facing multiple charges to include aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and recklessly endangering another person.
