Former Pittsburgh Pirates Player Weds Hollywood Star
The former first-round Pirates draft choice got married over the weekend to one of Hollywood's top stars.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Former Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Cole Tucker has gotten married to Hollywood star Vanessa Hudgens and the couple is honeymooning in Mexico, according to multiple reports.
Hudgens and Tucker tied the knot on Saturday in Talum, according to multiple media reports. They had been dating since 2020.
Hudgens, 34, rose to fame portraying Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series from 2006-08. During that period, she released two studio albums. Since then, she has appeared on Broadway and appeared in movies such as "Bandslam," "Beastly Sucker Punch," "Bad Boys for Life," and "Tick Tock Boom."

The Pirates selected Tucker, 27, in the first round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. He made his major league debut with the team in 2019, but was designated for assignment in May of 2022. He played last season for the Colorado Rockies and currently is a free agent.
Hudgens and Tucker announced their engagement on social media in February with a joint Instagram post from Paris in the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.
