TUSCALOOSA, AL — A former Pittsburgh Steelers player and current defensive lineman for the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs was jailed Monday after a judge revoked bond following his felony arrest for domestic violence and burglary Sunday.
Isaiah Buggs, who played three seasons for the Steelers, is charged with second-degree burglary/domestic violence and was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a mandatory 24-hour domestic violence hold, with his bond set at $5,000.
Sources confirmed to the Tuscaloosa Patch that the incident allegedly involved a physical altercation between Buggs and an ex-girlfriend.

Tuscaloosa County District Court Judge Joanne Jannik's decision to revoke his bond comes amid several pending charges against Buggs, who also is facing two counts of second-degree animal cruelty.
Buggs, who played college football for Alabama, was the Steelers' sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was released by the team in January 2022 and since has played for the Las Vegas Raiders, Detroit Lions and the Chiefs.
