
PITTSBURGH, PA - Sam Davis, an offensive lineman during the Steelers' four-time Super Bowl winning dynasty of the 1970s, was found dead Tuesday, hours after disappearing from the New Life Personal Care Home in McKeesport.
Mr. Davis, 75, was found dead near the home on Versailles Avenue in McKeesport, according to McKeesport Police.
"At this time, police detectives have not found anything suspicious or criminal regarding this incident," a post on the department's Facebook page stated. "Thank you for everyone’s concern and assistance in helping and attempting to locate Mr. Sam Davis."

Mr. Davis played for the Steelers for 13 seasons, during which the team won Super Bowls IX, X, XII and XIV.
