Here are the top stories in Pittsburgh today:

1) A water main break over the weekend impacted the city's Bluff neighborhood. According to Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority, a six-inch water main on Miltenberger Street broke on Sunday morning. Five properties in the area that are impacted by the water main break have been contacted about the outage by robocall. "Crews in the area of Fifth and Forbes avenues will be working to repair the break until approximately 6 p.m."

2) Pittsburgh's famous Primanti Bros. has big plans as it enters its 90th year on the foodie scene. Under the leadership of new CEO Adam Golomb, Primanti's focus will be on staying true to the brand's roots while embracing the future. "The plan is to open five locations a year (including what will become the largest Primanti's to date, in the North Hills) while introducing the "Almost Famous" sandwich, not to mention the chain's pizza and wings, to even more folks beyond the Steel City." Golomb states that Primanti's real estate team has its sights set on Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and Eastern Pennsylvania.

3) Today marks the official 'First Day of Spring', and local businesses are giving out free items to celebrate. For its 30th consecutive year in a row, Rita's will offering a free ice to customers. The store will also be announcing its newest ice flavor on the 20th. Dairy Queen is also offering customers a free small ice cream cone. "The iconic curl you crave is 100 percent free on March 20," DQ"s website states. "All you have to do is show up and order."

4) Shoppers looking for home essentials and decor can head to The Waterworks shopping plaza along Freeport Road near Aspinwall to visit the newest HomeGoods location. "The store will fill the empty Bed Bath & Beyond store near Dunham's, Waterworks spokeswoman Mara Mrvos said." Shoppers can expect to find an eclectic selection of lamps, rugs, frames, art, small furniture and other decorative accessories. TJX Cos. operates HomeGoods, T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, which also are located in the shopping center.
