Funeral Arrangements Set For Area Dayton Massacre Victim

Nicholas Cumer was one of nine people shot to death early Sunday in Dayton's entertainment district.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Funeral arrangements have been made for the Pittsburgh-area man who was one of nine people shot to death early Sunday in Dayton, Ohio.

Nicholas Cumer, 25, was a 2012 graduate of Washington High School in Washington. Mr. Cumer
was a graduate and a graduate student student in the master of cancer care program at St. Francis College in Loretto, where he obtained a degree in exercise physiology.

He had been in Dayton as part of his internship program with the Maple Tree Cancer Alliance.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Ave, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Brian Greenleaf officiating. All other services are private.
