Gabby Barrett To Sing At National Christmas Tree Lighting

PITTSBURGH, PA - Munhall’s Gabby Barrett will be among the performers Wednesday at the 96th annual National Christmas Tree Lighting at the White House. Barrett announced on Twitter that she will sing “The First Noel” for President Donald Trump.
The event will be hosted by actor and model Antonio Sabato Jr. and broadcast Dec. 2 on the Ovation and REELZ cable channels.
Barrett captivated viewers nationwide on the final season of ABC's "American Idol," where she finished third. She will perform at the White House with Abby Anderson, Anthony Kearns, Dominican Sisters of Mary also known as the “Caroling Angels,” John Driskell Hopkins and Joe Gransden, LOCASH, Matthew West, Paul Cardall, Spensha Baker, Thompson Square and the United States Army Band "Pershing's Own." The National Christmas Tree is a living Colorado blue spruce from Virginia, which can be seen year-round in President’s Park. Thanks to a partnership with the National Park Foundation, GE Lighting is celebrating its 56th year of decorating the National Christmas Tree.
