Gabby Barrett To Sing At Pittsburgh July 4 Fireworks Festivities
The "American Idol" contestant also will perform a free concert at South Hills Village this week.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Before she begins a nationwide tour, Munhall’s Gabby Barrett, who came close to winning it all on the final season of “American Idol”, will perform twice for her hometown fans.
Barrett will be the headlining act for Pittsburgh’s EQT Flashes of Freedom Celebrate America event on July 4 at Point State Park. She also will appear June 22 at South Hills Village. Both performances are free and open to the public.
Barrett captivated viewers nationwide on the most recent season of ABC’s “American Idol,” where she finished third.

The free concert at South Hills Village begins Friday at 7:30 p.m., with the stage on the lower level outside of Target. Fans will have an opportunity to meet her after the show during a one-hour session on the upper level near the Disney Store.
On Independence Day, she’ll perform on the main stage at Point State Park from 8 p.m. until the fireworks begin at 8:30 p.m. Fans can expect to hear new singles such as “Jesus and My Mama,” “My Church” and “Good Girl.”
Barrett has been busy since “American Idol.” She has spent time in Nashville working with Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line. She’ll perform next in Pittsburgh opening for Luke Bryan at Heinz Field on June 30th.
