General Election 2019: Pittsburgh-Area Voter Guide

Here's what you need to know about Tuesday's election.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Voters go to the polls for the 2019 general election Tuesday to elect Pennsylvania Superior Court judges, the Allegheny County executive, controller, treasurer, district
attorney and council, as well as municipal council members, commissioners and school directors.

When do I vote?
Polls will be open across the state from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Do I need ID to vote?
Only if you are voting at your polling place for the first time. Approved forms of photo ID under those circumstances include a state driver's license or ID card issued by PennDOT; ID issued by any other state agency; ID issued by the federal government; U.S. passport; U.S. Armed Forces ID; student or employee ID. Approved forms of non-photo ID include a voter's ID card issued by the voter registration commission; non-photo ID issued by the state; non-photo ID issued by the federal government; firearm permit; current utility bill; current bank statement; current paycheck or government check.
