Get A Free Kraft Heinz Historic Pickle Pin At Picklesburgh
Kraft Heinz is giving away the pins as part of its 150th birthday celebration.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Kraft Heinz will celebrate its 150th birthday next week by giving away commemorative pickle pins at the annual Picklesburgh festival.
The pin, long a symbol of the company founded in Pittsburgh in 1869, will be available at the Kraft Heinz booth under the giant inflatable pickle on the Roberto Clemente Bridge during the festival. Picklseburgh takes place July 26-28.
“Nothing is more representative of Pittsburgh’s proud pickle past than the cherished pickle pin," Jeremy Waldrup, CEO of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, the non-profit that presents Picklesburgh, said in a statement. “We can’t think of a better way or place for Kraft Heinz to
release this limited-edition commemorative pin than at the 2019 Picklesburgh festival where pickle-lovers from near and far will be on hand to celebrate all things pickled.”

Visitors to the Kraft Heinz booth will not only be able to pick up the pickle pin, but Pittsburgh’s Klavon’s Ice Cream will also be on hand offering free pickle-flavored ice cream bites on July 27.
The pickle pin was introduced as a giveaway at the 1893 World’s Fair. One of the most famous
giveaways in history, the pin remains an important promotional item for Kraft Heinz.

Picklesburgh, voted the nation's best specialty food festival in a USA Today poll, will take place July 26 and 27 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on July 28 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. More than 60 vendors representing pickle-themed food and merchandise will be on hand, as will 18 local bands performing on the main stage and the popular pickle juice drinking contest.
