Grammy Award Winners To Usher In New Pittsburgh Venue

PITTSBURGH, PA — The city's newest entertainment destination will debut with Grammy Award winning acts and coincide with the upcoming NFL Draft.

The Plaza at North Shore, across the street from PNC Park, will be home to an opening night draft party and Grammy-winning hip hop star Nelly on April 22.

On April 23rd, electronic dance music DJ Steve Aoki will take the stage for a tailgate celebration; and on April 25th, Grammy-winning 2Chainz in concert, will close out Pittsburgh’s draft weekend.

The events are age 18 and over and tickets for all three events are currently available.

“As Pittsburgh enters the worlds stage this April while hosting the draft, we have been working day and night to create the ultimate experience that will showcase the best aspects of our incredible city,” Legacy Hospitality Partners Owner Herky Pollock. said .“Our first series of events is a taste of what’s to come at The Plaza and the perfect way to celebrate the incredible momentum and growth that Pittsburgh is currently experiencing.”

Legacy Hospitality Partners is opening the doors of Plaza at North Shore and its exterior-facing restaurant, SugarBird, on April 2nd. The Plaza is located at 220 North Shore Drive at the corner of Mazeroski Way and General Robinson Boulevard. Legacy Hospitality Partners will operate the 30,000 square foot outdoor plaza, which includes SugarBird and a second concept, Highball Social Club, in its footprint. Highball Social Club, slated to open in the fall, is a 15,200 square foot experiential restaurant and bar.

The Plaza is home to two performance stages and a 40’ LED screen that will air games, movies, and more. The Plaza will deliver an every-changing experience designed to attract visitors to the North Shore throughout the entire year including on game days at PNC Park and Acrisure Stadium.
