Greenfield Bridge Traffic Restrictions Begin Next Week

PITTSBURGH, PA - Traffic will be restricted on the Greenfield Bridge for up to 10 weekdays days beginning March 26 to a pedestrian safety railing can be installed above the wing walls of the span.

While the work is being performed, travel on the Downtown side of the bridge will be restricted to one lane toward Greenfield. Pedestrians will be shifted onto the cartway using the outbound curb lane, but no outbound travel lane restrictions will occur between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays.

The bridge bike lane also will be closed during the railing installation, with cyclists having to cross the bridge via the existing vehicular lane.
