`Hamilton' In Pittsburgh: How To Get Tickets To The Broadway Hit

The Broadway hit's touring production is coming in January. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust already calls the ticket demand "unprecedented."

PITTSBURGH, PA - Forget fireworks to ring in the new year as 2018 concludes. Pittsburgh will begin 2019 with a Broadway bang - the touring production of “Hamilton.”

The smash Broadway hit that tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, the nation’s first treasury secretary, will be at the Benedum Center Jan. 1-27, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announced.

This touring cast of “Hamilton” won’t include star Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the book, music and lyrics. But the musical, whose 11 Tony Awards in 2016, included best musical, best score, best book, best choreography and best lead actor, is sure to be among the most sought-after theater tickets in Pittsburgh in years.
