SWISSVALE, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has closed Roundz Lounge on South Braddock Avenue for numerous health violations.

An inspection Wednesday revealed the facility does not have adequate refrigeration to operate in a safe manner. An inspector also found bagged shrimp stored in a chicken box surrounded by chicken juice in a cooler, a high-risk violation.

Additionally, cigarette butts were found in the rinse and sanitize bowls in the bar's three-bowl sink. A slime-like substance was found in the upright cooler of the rear storage room, and a mold-like substance and miscellaneous debris was found in the bottom of both bar coolers.
