Health Department Orders Pittsburgh Convenience Store To Close

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closure of the In-N-Out Market at 4900 Penn Avenue in Bloomfield.

An inspector on Monday observed rodent droppings within boxes of cookies, granola bars, chips, ramen and other items. More rodent droppings were found on shelving behind jars of tomato sauce.

Additionally, two granola bar packages were found to be chewed.

A green-and-white mold-like substance was observed on a shelf holding soda.
